Dancer went to Portland, Maine to have his surgery on Tuesday. June 10, and he came home this morning (Wed). He went directly to his friend Sandy's house to recover. He is pictured here, looking a little crabby and in need of a nap. The doc says Dancer will recover from his surgery and will lead a normal and happy kitty life! He was sooooo lucky, 'cause he has wonderful people and kitty friends all over the world who helped him with his medical expenses, and some also sent him wonderful toys to play with when he feels better! He told me he would share with all of his friends here at the shelter. I am looking forward to seeing his happy little self dancing and chirping up and down the hallway again. He is such a special kitty, and everyone here is working hard to see that Dancer gets the perfect home.
